We received one inch of new snow today and 12 inches in the past 4 days. We could see another 1 to 3 inches of new snow tonight! Tomorrow’s forecast calls for beautiful sunny skies with a high of 29 inches at the base and 26 degrees at higher elevations. Tomorrow, we plan to have Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, Village Lift, Sterling Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider all operating. We have 22 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 17 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Thomke’s, and Lower Morse Liftline, for a total of 78 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable, with average base depths of 14 to 38 inches. Currently, it is 22 degrees at the summit of Sterling with flurries.

I had a wonderful day on the slopes today. I went skiing this morning with Thaddeus of Smuggs TV. We were filming this week’s No Bull Video Report. We started in the Village and skied over to Sterling. We enjoyed some nice groomers like Rumrunner, Treasure Run, Black Snake, and Lower Exhibition. This afternoon, I went snowboarding on Morse with my daughter Hayleigh after school. We had a blast laughing at each other as we tried to ride switch. At 3:30 pm I headed back to the office to start the night report. Hayleigh stayed on the hill to practice riding switch. This way, she can show me up again the next time we go riding together.
