Today, we have the Village Lift, Sterling Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider all operating. We have 14 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 11 out of the 14 open trails have been groomed for today; that’s a total of 50 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine-groomed and variable, with average base depths of 10 to 32 inches. Currently, it is foggy and 38 degrees at the summit of Sterling, with winds of 5 to 10 mph. Today’s forecast calls for cloudy skies with fog, mix, and rain at a high of 41 degrees.
Lift Update
All lifts will have a delayed opening tomorrow morning until 9 am due to grooming operations. Temperatures will be falling tonight, with rain turning to snow. The temperature will not hit the freezing point until later in the night. We have to wait until after the snow sets up before we can groom the trails to provide the best conditions.
