Today: Rain, snow showers, and sleet likely becoming all snow after 10 am. Cloudy, with the temperature falling to around 26 by 5 pm. The chance of precipitation is 70%. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is possible.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18 degrees

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly after 5 pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 29 degrees. Little or no snow accumulation is expected.

Thursday Night: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 22 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches is possible.

Friday: Snow likely before 7 am, then snow showers likely after 7 am. Cloudy, with a high near 24 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches is possible.

The Madonna II Lift will be closed today. We have the Sterling Lift, Village Lift, Morse Highlands Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider all operating. We have 29 trails with terrain for all ability levels. 17 out of the 29 open trails have been groomed for today, including Black Snake and Dixie’s Knoll for a grand total of 80 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine-groomed and variable with average base depths of 6 to 24 inches. Currently, it is cloudy and 32 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph.

The Nordic Center is open with 9 km of cross-country skiing and 15 km of snowshoeing. The ice rink is closed today.

This coming weekend the featured beer for the apres sports parties at Bootlegger’s and the Black Bear Tavern is Labatts.
