A dual slalom race between Ski School and Ski Patrol was held yesterday afternoon on the Practice Slope. The race was very close with Ski Patrol winning. A great time was had by all and everyone is looking forward to a rematch next season!

We received 4 to 5 inches of new snow overnight. Today we have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We have 60 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 41 trails have been groomed for today, including Upper FIS, Smugglers’ Alley, and Snow Snake for a grand total of 154 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Freefall is open from the traverse on Upper FIS. Surface conditions are powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 12 to 54 inches. It is cloudy and 28 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph. Today’s forecast is cloudy skies with a chance of snow showers and an inch of accumulation possible with a high of 37 degrees at the base and 30 degrees at higher elevations.
