We received 11 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours and 13 inches in the past 2 days. The trail count doubled today. Early season conditions are just amazing! There is more snow in the forecast for tonight with 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies, a chance of flurries with a high of 25 degrees at the base and 19 degrees at higher elevations. The colder temperatures will allow us to resume our snowmaking operations. Sir Henry’s Learning Park has snow gun hoses and guns waiting for the temperature to drop. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 12 to 36 inches. 6 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley for a total of 25 acres of freshly groomed terrain.
