The day started off a little wet and then the sun came out! It was perfect weather for pond skimming. A great time was had by all!
Tomorrow we plan to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 4 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. Some lifts may have a delayed opening in the morning due to grooming operations. We have 58 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 26 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Upper FIS, Drifter, Garden Path, Magic Learning Trail, Smugglers’ Alley, and Thomke’s for a grand total of 118 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine-groomed and variable with average base depths of 12 to 54 inches. Currently, it is 48 degrees and sunny at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for early cloudy skies with gradual clearing, a high of 30 degrees at the base, and 23 degrees at higher elevations.
